nope. people have been creating interaction art for quite a while. a lot longer than we've been around, for sure. social sculptors, situationists, public artists, improvisers, network artists, information artists, softwart programmers, generative artists, ..have all been around for decades. we didn't invent these art forms. we are just regarding them as conceptually analogous to one another.
